So every Monday morning (during the summer, when I have no classes) I take the morning and early afternoon to treat myself well. (It's Saturday when I'm at school). I think its important to use this time to re-charge, relax and get yourself in the best shape possible for the stresses of the week. I usually do DIY skin and hair care, and do an exfoliation all over.
Today on the menu:
Lip Exfoliation: Lip Balm (Nivea SOS) + Brown Sugar + Wet toothbrush.
Banana Hair Mask: Blend one banana, a tablespoon of honey, and a tablespoon of olive oil. I have my hair up in a plastic bag. Soak for at least 30 mins, but I'm just going as long as I can today.
Multani Mitti Face Mask: Teaspoon of mitti powder (I used hesh brand), and enough rose water to make it into a thin (not watery) paste.
Body care: I'm washing with organix passionfruit guava shampoo (reviews on it after i use it its my first use) and caress evenly gorgeous and a washcloth or loofah.
I'm also giving myself a mani-pedi with Sally Hansen's Sheerly Opal Kit.
Have a gorgeous Monday and get glowing girls!!

Those that know me in real life know I'm obsessed with lipgloss/stick/stain. The latest ones I'm on are the new Revlon Just Bitten Lip Stains. So how do I feel about them? Keep reading!Pros:
- Long lasting colors
- Lip balm built in
- Kiss proof
- Marker
- The balm is pretty moisturizing.
Cons:
- As with all lip stains, it's a bit drying (the balm helps)
- Colors are a bit bold and bright.
- I broke the balm on one of the ones I bought trying to peel off the wrapper. :)
In a nutshell: I like it. I've only tried 2 other stains so far (Covergirl and Stainiac-theBALM) and so far this is the best one I've tried. I bought it in Beloved (a Mauvy-Plum) and Frenzy (a bright berry/wine color). I love that the cap to the marker has two layers to prevent the marker from drying out. The Covergirl one didn't have one and my marker dried out in a week or so (boo). I think Frenzy comes out as a deeper, redder version of the Benetint lipstain on me (NC40/42)... or so I remember, I've only used it at the counter. Swatches to come later!

I'm a sweet, confident, 21 year old Indian female. I'm going into my final year of engineering at a large Big 12 school :) I'm in a sorority. I was born and raised in the US.
This blog is here for me to talk about makeup, fashion, and my product reviews/rants/
DIY's/etc. I've been wearing makeup since I was young (yes my parents were
ok with it), and I've explored and experimented a lot. Right now I'm back in the natural/minimalist phase. I've been through the colorful phase, the dramatic phase and the stage makeup phase (growing up I was a dancer.... think Ballet.... and actress).
So with that lets get started!
One of my favorite products is rosewater.
I literally snuck out of my house to buy some today. It's all natural, alcohol free, and I personally think its the best toner :) I'm going to India in a week and I think this would be perfect for that long flight over there. It's a soothing, cooling, relaxing treat (and I totally plan on stocking up on it there along with Fullers Earth (Multani Mitti), since its super cheap there). My skin stays smooth, calm and clear whenever I start using it. I keep it around in a spray bottle, but for an extra treat keep it in the fridge (It gives you an extra refreshing sensation for these hot southern days). If you have dry skin add a few drops of glycerin. It's eco friendly for all you green chicks out there, can be tailored for your skin type, and can be made at home (see DIY link).
